Undergraduation in Agronomy at the Federal University of Paraíba (2004), Master in Agronomy (Soil Sciences) at São Paulo State University (2006), Doctorate in Agronomy (Soil Sciences) at Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (2009) and Post-Doctorate in Water and Soil Engineering at State University of Campinas (2013). I am an Associate Professor at the Center for Agricultural Sciences at the Federal University of Paraíba. At the Federal University of Amazonas, I was professor at the Institute of Education, Agriculture and Environment (2006-2020); Coordinator of the Environmental Engineering Graduation Course (2007-2008); Director of the Institute of Education, Agriculture and Environment (2010-2014) and Coordinator of the Post-Graduate Program in Environmental Sciences (2015-2019). I was also Director of the Western Amazon Regional Center of the Brazilian Society of Soil Science (2011-2013). I am currently Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Soil Science at Center for Agricultural Sciences at the Federal University of Paraíba; awarded by CNPq Research Productivity Scholarship in Agronomy; Assistant Editor of the Brazilian Journal of Soil Science and Comunicata Scientiae Journal; Coordinator of the Soil Survey and Classification Commission of the Brazilian Society of Soil Science (2019-2023); Deputy director of Division I – Soil in Space dnd Time of the Brazilian Society of Soil Science (2019-2023). I am also adviser of the Postgraduate Program in Soil Science and Environmental Science. I am an expert in Agronomy, with emphasis in Soil Science, currently acting on the following topics: Soil Genesis and Morphology; Soil Mineralogy and Soil-Landscape Relationship.
