Doctoral degree in Soil Science at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco/Texas A&M University (PDSE) (2014). Professor from Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE), Agricultural Engineering Department. Research interest includes several themes, such as riverine soil erosion, soil and water conservation, soil and sediment geochemistry, environmental sedimentology, nutrient and contaminants transport under watershed scale, the role of agriculture in water quality problems, sediment source fingerprinting and tracking procedures, sediment and nutrient budget, diffuse pollution mitigation strategies, and watershed management. Permanent member in two post doc programs: 1) Agricultural Sciences/UFPI/Bom Jesus and 2) Soil Science/UFRPE. Vice President of the International Commission of Continental Erosion/International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS) (2019-2023).
