Since the 70s, spectroscopic techniques, especially those with infrared radiation (NIRS -Near Infrared Spectroscopy and DRIFTS – Diffuse Reflectance Fourier Transformed Spectroscopy) have been proposed for inorganic soil analysis, but only few methods found routine use in Brazil so far.
